The Equestrian's Concierge is the result of marrying the personal passions of Ashley Matchett Woods; her lifelong love of and involvement with horses and her 20-year commitment to branding, marketing and customer service.

Ashley brings to the retail equine world two decades experience in marketing, branding and communications for business-to-business and consumer brands. Her focus has been on corporate positioning, messaging and customer relationship best practices. She has helped create brands and integrate communications around the globe for clients such as Cisco Systems, Sprint International, Sun Microsystems, Sony, Roman Meal Bread and many others.

Whether working as a senior communications agency executive, corporate marketing director, sales person or independent consultant, she led all marketing activity efforts and served as strategic counsel for internal and external branding issues. Ashley has worked in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York markets for agencies such as Grey, Goldberg Moser O'Neill and J. Walter Thompson. Specializing in global and technology brands has kept her in the most competitive and fast-paced markets in the world.

Ashley holds a degree in marketing from the University of Southern California where she began her sales and customer service career in retail sporting goods. She continued post-graduate marketing/sales education and possesses several industry affiliations. Her most enjoyable work has been as a speaker and teacher. She has now commited herself 100% to creating and running The Equestrian's Concierge. More than just a tack shop, it is an experience and central source for the equestrian's lifestyle needs. Her unique insight into target marketing along with her understanding of building trust (and thus brands) with customers will make The Equestrian's Concierge a successful endeavor for her and her partners/vendors.

Ashley is married and lives in Marin County, California with her husband Craig, horse Daisy, and dog Cookie - who is now the official Equestrian Concierge mascot.
