EQ Review: Winston's New Mid-Rise Breech

April 14, 2016

#InStore at EQ is the new breech from Winston Equestrian — featuring an improved fabric, sock bottom, and more moderate rise.

WHY MID-RISE? Belgian-based Winston Equestrian is always one to be responsive to its customers and heard that some ladies found the original breech a bit too skimpy on the torso — particularly in the more common US sizes (28+). In time for Spring ’16, the new Mid-Rise breech has arrived, joining its original breech, not replacing it.

WHAT WE THINK.  We love it!  The new material (now across all the breeches) and fit is very comfortable — no pulling or drooping anywhere, I can even put my hands in the pockets — and the sock bottom is just tight enough without binding.  The slightly tech-ier fabric makes the shape even more resilient after multiple washes and colors stay brilliant.  Winston’s trademark elegance and contrast details remain in tact across all of their breeches: original rise, mid-rise, and men’s and are available in navy, grey, brown, white and their signature show-ring hue, Ash.

All Winston Equestrian fashion is beautifully tailored and made from the finest European fabrics.  Show coats, shirts, breeches, sweaters, and even socks.

Try and buy Winston Equestrian apparel at The Equestrian’s Concierge — and now at EquestrianConcierge.com and on the EQ for You app!

Winston Equestrian USA is exclusively distributed by FAB Sportswear.
